Schwab Coat of Arms

I haven't uncovered significant findings in a long time. Today I was procrastinating on other work and came across the Bern, Switzerland state archive. After spending some time down that rabbit hole, I found this:


In their online inventory I also saw that they have five documents regarding Siselin Schwab genealogy 1788-1876. That's intriguing, although I know there are multiple Schwab lines from Siselin. It would be fun to know a bit more. Like did my 3x great-grandfather, John Benedict Schwab, a salt distributor and did he really run a tavern.
